Rsi passes on most- in not all- of its raw sugar input costs. Rogers is a monolopy and a good investment at the right orice.

You have absolutely NO idea what you are talking about. Rogers is no where near being a monopoly, they are strictly a price taker and their gross margin has been getting assaulted for years due to price pressures from competitiors. What? How many sugar companies are there in canada? One. Rogers.  where do we import refined sugar from? Nowhere. Rogers is a monopoly.

There are two sugar companies in Canada, 90% of the sugar refiend here comes from imported Sugar Cane, the price of which is not under Candian control. There are a ton of comapnies selling refined sugar into Canada. Canada imports FAR more sugar than it refines here. Try doing some research before spouting off and making yourself look stupid. Another take on Canadian sugar, agrees with everything DeanEdmonton said: Southern Alberta Sugar Beet Harvest Shows Promise It's good to see they're optimistic about this year's harvest.  Let's hope it doesn't get killed by another freak snowstorm.
