It carries on business in three segments: metals service centers, energy products and steel distributors. Its steel distributors operations act as master distributors selling steel in large volumes to other steel service centers and large equipment manufacturers. It provides processing and distribution services to a base of approximately 35,000 end users through a network of 45 Canadian locations and 23 United States locations.
