RE:Time for an Update from Management

RE:Time for an Update from ManagementHi Sanfran. Very well written as always.

I, and I'm sure, thousands of shareholders are in complete agreement.

It would be good if we could organize a retail investor group in order to express our opinions. It's not something I've done in this context before but public opinion and market research and analysis is my business, so the tools are available. Of course within the retail investors there will be a range of different investment objectives.

Just giving this some quick thought some of the elements would be as follows:
  1. We need a reliable shareholder list with contact information (email address). Reliability is essential in terms of this list universe.
  2. Confidentiality would need to be protected. This is easy because my firm does this everyday. We secure the database of responses, analyse responses and the aggregate and sub segment responses are analysed.
  3. So, in an ideal world, if we had a full email of shareholders they would be sent a notification that a study of RVX shareholders is being conducted and their opinions are important. They would be assured this is not sponsored by RVX and that their specific information would be confidential.
  4. They would be given a link to Survey Monkey or another online data collection site and asked to log in to the survey.
  5. The study would include only a few basic questions such as do they want communication updates, on what frequency and then profile information such as number of shares held, investment objectives, etc.

Of course, the difficulty would be getting a list of shareholders.

Therefore the alternative is to start small. I don't know if this website has a survey tool. If it does we could start with it and invite posters and observers of the site to post their opinions on the survey tool and then post results on a weekly basis and send them to RVX.

The momentum could grow from that base. The survey tool needs to be good enough to block out multiple responses from one source with the analysis time frame.

For those of us who know other shareholder we could ask them to participate and this could ripple out.

Anyway, just more of my think out loud crazy thoughts.
Cheers
Toinv
