IMO, It would have been absolutely ridculous for DM to hold on to the CKD data for 4 months and then get the late breaking presentation at NKF if there was not some decent data baked in. If i remember correctly, DM did wanted to release this data during the AHA in November but was specifically asked if it could be withheld til the NFK conference , If the CKD data was not to impressive i don't thisnk DM would not have agreed to wait that long ,
