RE:RE:THIS BBDTRAINSTER is a real PEST &NUISSANCEThanks ocean for that info...you seem like a really smart guy!!! So let me ask you one real smart question big guy!!!!!!1) let's say Mr. "Ocean" is a regular guy, making a regular pay check just like 95 of the working general public. Let's say Mr. Ocean is in need of a car within the next 2-3yrs, but just like 95 of the public he has bills and money is tough to save!!! Will Mr. Ocean burn mininum $40,000 plus freight and taxes(incl all govt tax subsidies incentives,) and buy a junky pueny cheap looking electric car, cause thats what the $40,000 ones are (junk) with probly 120km range on a full battery charge in a balmy Florida climate, and let's say like most regular folks Mr. Ocean lives in the suburbs far away and can't really charge this beast at his job or along the way home? Or let's say Mr.Ocean lives down like 95 of downtowners but like in apartment, condo or small house with street parking only (like most folks) so obviously can't plug this sucker in at home or work! Big hassle!!! Will Mr. Ocean buy this electric vehicle and pray infastructure will get better for electric vehicles as soon he makes his purchase and drives this insanity home? Or will Mr.Ocean buy a real car and not worry about every move he makes including going to a secluded cottage on the weekends or somewhere south of the border and party like it's 1999? Most cars today are fuel efficient and always getting better! Remember folks you can buy a Chevy spark right now for $9999.99(no subsidies ) on a reliable gas efficient car with 1600000km warranty (you will never recoup the electric savings with this beast)or you can blow $1mil for a gasoline rolls Royce and drive in style ? And you got alot of choices in between those two, and I mean Alot!!!? What will you go with Mr. Ocean as a regular consumer on a tight budget big guy????? What do you think a regular consumer in the developing country on a tight budget buy, for ex mexico, korea, turkey, morocco, colombia, Thailand etc...? Do these guys have all of this disposable income to bypass small fuel efficient vehicles??? I don't think so either big guy!!! Gasoline ain't going now where! They will be getting better and more fuel efficient as time goes on. electric vehicles can't compete !!!also lets face it folks, all of these tax incentives for e.v will come to an end once we have another govt change, or our budget defects Get out of hands in which they are now!!!! I don't want my taxes going up, and I don't want to pay for my neibours car anymore either! I cant hardly afford my fuel efficient car, why do I have to pay for these losers car through insane tax incentives,? Where's myn????
