A little Rant, cuz I have nothing to do. The whole world is due for a correction and a war might be it. The Dow is out of control with record gains during a pandemic? Is it all government money (insert taxpayer here) being pushed in by people who want to try the stock market using e trade? 2000 points means nothing. Wtf was GameStop all about. Everything is manipulated by a few rich people and powerful corporations it seems, and the ability of things to happening instantly with the internet. I wonder what would have happened had they not shut down the nickel market, we will never know now. Spent a few day in Vegas, unfortunately for me, they never shut down the bj tables after I made some bad bets. Oh they never canceled those bets either. However if I was a whale, I’m pretty sure the casino would have worked out a deal with me, lol.
Back to Sherritt, I’m pretty sure they have come to the conclusion they will never see the millions Cuba owes them, but you have to leave them on the books because, if they wiped those losses, there would be more put on the plate in the future.
I’m afraid all this extra money will be used up on diesel, natural gas, shipping, high steel prices, equipment shortages, labour (except the Cuban employees), more pandemic, the next hurricane, lunch, paper, staples, electricity, bonuses and whatever else comes along.
I however am a eternal optimist and have rode this MFer from $.40 to $1.87 back to $.06 and to where it is now.
Ok, that’s my rant.
Now I have to get back to the bj tables to get my money back, as if that will ever happen.
Anyone want to talk about resort fees, I was told the resort fee covers the free water in my room. Room $41.00, resort fee $45.00....lol...that's some tasty water!
I called the desk for towels cuz housekeeping no longer comes to the room (Covid). They came with a clear plastic garbage bag full of supplies and put it in the door…….lol.
Have to book in advance if you want the sheets changed.
The bikinis at the pool today made it all better tho. Ummmm, maybe that will be their next income stream, $5.00 surcharge for looking at the bikini’s.
