Either common shares is forgotten about from old timers gone very sick or accounts that were dormant perhaps Sherritt demise destroyed these old thoughts of the grannies and grandpas. Afterall plenty of investors through 70 years. Children forget about fathers & mothers 80% of the time unless directed by the estate director. Most parents do not leave wills and also now mail for brokerage accounts are paperless.
The conundrum is plenty of hidden stock buried in dormant accounts. Plenty. Now if the broker dealers are utilizing these shares for market making then Mr Binedell needs to spark them all with further positive news. There is no relief from this discounted evaluation as of yet but perhaps next week things will be quite different. I do not predict what the stock will do. It's futile. I just no I see value in the common shares. Extreme value.
I like Sherritt for all of its financial metrics bar none . It is bringing plenty of cash flow in the 1st quarter. Enjoy the freebees- I am positioned if anything beneficial comes next week. It's the patience of growing humbled by the data points & observations.
if nobody does their due diligence then as before I came last year many shareholders would have sold all year into the decline. If I save one or two souls from selling to the sophisticated shareholders then to me this is my accomplishments.
staving off a private sale or a takeover I am happy that volume on the week hit a record low. Telltale signs of large sophisticated owners with dormant Sherritt common . There is nobody selling but nobody is buying either on the boredom trails.

As they say, everything has a price. If there were people who had the same beliefs as you that S is a screaming buy, they'd bid up the price to a level where there would be sellers. But there aren't any buyers and there aren't any sellers. Because..... No one wants it.
