RE:RE:I am sitting in an brand new LFP model YIrony is the LFP is set to charge to 100% whereas the NMC is set to 80%.  So do you want 100% of 400km (and more lifetime cycles) or 80% of 500km at a premium cost (and less lifetime cycles).  Hmmm.

I imagine people will want the option for the longest possible range in some of their vehicles, maybe not the commuter ones, but definitely ones to go on trips in. 

At this point I see the whole vehicle market hashing out what zero carbon looks like and what is the cheapest, most practical and gives best value in the long run... heck we may even keep gasoline vehicles around if we can figure out renewable gasoline somehow.

Don't forget, if they don't want to be hypocrites they will want the most environmentally friendly nickel as well to be used in these batteries.. and that's definitely not nickel pig iron, at this point 

Does anyone know if there are items/equipment other than batteries that require class 1 nickel? Inconel?
