RE:So, that Trump fellow, eh?Respectfully, I am not sure that Helms-Burton will allow S to be held liable for anything. Yes, American courts will almost certainly uphold decisions in accordance with H-B, but I seem to recall that Canada and Europe, possibly among other countries, lobbied to the WTO (?) about the H-B decision and the American position was found to be unenforceable.

given that S management is currently blacklisted from entering the US, I don't see what more the US can do directlyto S as it relates to H-B. I don't pretend to be a lawyer so might be missing something key here. I do, however, recognize that Trump or whoever the US president is could pile on more sanctions to make life even worse for Cubans, which could make it even more difficult for S to get money out of the country for their work.
