Well, as an 'equal partner' with the Cuban government, all our receivable accounts are all paid up and we have access to the ever growinf cash pile sitting in the JV whenever we so choose.  Our partner (and its various corporate entities) are certainly not, despite what some misguided individuals on this board (rkhosla) might tell you, holding our cash hostage as their foreign ...more

Are people expecting nickel prices to hold or go up from current price? Is there a bearish case for nickel that I'm not seeing? If nickel stays around current price I'm thinking that's a good spot to be with Sherritt.  I'm not looking for dividend. Firstly I want a financially healthy company then if cash keeps coming in complete this expansion on budget. Once they have a ...more

Lol, well I'm no financial genius, (insert Janet Yellen here) however I do get my bills paid. Now 400m shares receiving a, oh maybe, $.02 dividend would cost the company $8m. When they are getting $11+/lb on nickel, that might say something to someone who might be interested in purchasing a few shares. The company had no problem looking after their executive and upper management to the tune ...more

Pure wishful thinking, desperate hope, or do you have some evidence? Maybe they can get paid in rum for all their debts. Havana club. The good stuff. 7 year, 15 year old. Not the cheap stuff sold to tourists and the lcbo. I should have enough shares for a case of good stuff as a dividend I can consume, sell, or store.
