I would have thought it might keep going up but it looks as though the economics behind the scenes may not be cooperating.  All those gains are now dissolving.  Lots of financial issues and the FED is still active and determined to drop inflation.  1000-point drop in a week!

China's growth has fallen to below 4%. And they're having real estate problems. This is HUGE. Everyone has gotten used to China having double digit growth for many years now. Copper has already dropped a lot. China was consuming most of the world's metals during its historic growth. Now what? Not good.

That's what I have been saying all along!  It's actually worse than that. They have the fastest aging population, 20-25% youth unemployment and the need to import I suggest 80% of their energy. I suggest that Communism has a simple agreement with the people.  The people do as their told and the Communist party provides economic well-being for the people. This pact is cracking.&

The previous base metal boom ending in 2009 was a China development story.  The anticipated base metals boom is a synchronized global decarbonization story.  Weaning off of the one before the uneven uptake of the next is lumpy.
