Well looks like another story to refute the rainbows and sunshine messaging that was being touted by the infamous Mr. V. This is a clear sign for those investors to realize that when the talk doesn't match the walk, you better stay clear. In this case Sherritt, with an operating Ni mine and processing plant in Fort Saskachewan Alberta, was at around a dismal $0.80 and dropped to a worse $0.30 today.
I suggest that a promoter was trying to get shares off his books and sucker others into buying them for a company being severly impacted by geopolitics. I hope that the new board trie to work out some differences between the communists in Cuba and Capitalists in USA. Otherwise Cuba and Sherritt remain sidelined or may disappear before too long. I've had friends go to Cuba recently, it wasn't pretty.
