Cuba as a state cannot provide even the basics. It is not simply the geo political position the Americans have cornered them in. That has been their excuse.   Their industry is not state run, it is state neglected. Look at the astonishing historic decline of their sugar industry due to poor management etc. They are incapable of maintaining the sort of discipline and investment in something so ...more
