During his event with Thailand's Filipino community on Wednesday, March 22, Duterte even went so far as to say he would "die" for Villar.

That's a nice sentiment, but has nothing to do with project economics or securing a real mining company partner.

First step is the lifting of the open pit mining ban. Money / paperwork are all just incidentals after that. The line up will be long to join in on the KK project. You're getting way ahead of yourself . Ban lifted = money will pour in quickly... as well as anything else that is needed. Bottom line - it does not matter what we post here - we have no bearing on KK's success or demise. t' ...more

The ban should never have occurred and just substantiates doing mining business in the PI is unattractive.   Economics and securing a real mining partner is not incidental by any means.  They are the only significant milestones to be acheived followed by construction and production.  The project is not attractive to any major miners.  It has floundered for three-decades ...more

Patience - you have "cart before the horse" syndrome ... our horse being the ban lifted... and our cart is being loaded with all of your requirements ... preparing for the forward journey... it's a new era in PH mining and environmental stability. Bring all the negativity you want here, but I'm not so sure why you are here really - are you angry at the Villar's ... Duterte... ...more
