ProShares Short SmallCap600 T.SBB

Primary Symbol: SBB

The investment seeks daily investment results that correspond to the inverse (-1x) of the daily performance of the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. The fund invests in financial instruments that ProShare Advisors believes, in combination, should produce daily returns consistent with the funds investment objective. The index is a measure of small-cap company U.S. stock market performance. It is a float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index of 600 U.S. operating companies selected through a process that factors in criteria such as liquidity, price, market capitalization, financial viability and public float. The fund is non-diversified.

RE:Careful What You Wish For......

RE:Careful What You Wish For......These are points that we all need to consider, and I appreciate the various viewpoints. I guess the one scenario I haven't seen presented is where the vote fails, and the existing team (or a new team if the existing team quits or is voted out) actually does a decent job of building the mine, on time and on budget, as they are supposed to do, having told us they can get the mine built by 2025 with the current financing. Why should we assume they are going to completely screw it up? I ask that rhetorically because I have little confidence in the current team given the fact that they recommended this offer, and I also wonder, as others have, whether Bruce is content to take his $4 million or so in SBB shares and retire or whatever, rather than to expend the considerable time and energy to see this project through.  Anyway most of the "yes" votes seem to be based on the assumption that if we don't vote yes, the whole project is going to spiral into disaster with massive cost overruns, incompetent construction, a skeptical market, and other doom and gloom scenarios. How about the scenario where goes gold to $2500 or more, SBB finds significantly more gold through more drilling, Hacket River gets resurrected as the prce of silver skyrockets, and these guys actually get this thing built on time and on budget? What would SBB be worth then? $3? $5? $8 - certainly more than $2, that is for sure, in my book at least.
