RE:Coffee Time with YHZSailer

RE:Coffee Time with YHZSailerYes they are all old original settler land grants going back to the 1700s. The lots all go back to a common baseline and include preconfederation water lots and were usually 50-100 acres. Behind them is all crown land. At the head of Goldborough though is Crown land and doliver mountain is mostly on Crown. I believe the government can legally expropriate the property if the landowners won't give it up for a reasonable price. They might be wise to take reasonable offers as they won't get anything more than stumpage value for it in that process. I happen to own a big LOT similar to them that goes back to some Scottish ancestors in the adjacent county. Can't wait for the graveyard party...I will be there or sure and I will volunteer to host breakfast for the morning after party! I've got a bottle of Ardbeg saved for that day.
