Signal Gold and Rambler Minerals Are Making A Big Mistake

With Signal Gold and Rambler Minerals pulling out of the Baie Verte Peninsula in spite Gold Futures trading at over $2,000 US and loonie at 74 cents US, both companies are making a big mistake and missing out on an opportunity to make money.

How stupid can both companies get in pulling out of Baie Verte and missing an opportunity to make money on high gold prices?

Now Baie Verte Peninsula area residents will pay a price as more people will leave the region for other opportunities.

NLMoose, I think you may be right, but as they say, hindsight is 20/20.  I always hate seeing the loss of jobs in Atlantic Canada and in Signal's case expertise that could have been transitioned to Golboro when/if needed.  Even if it broke even while they worked on Golboro would have been nice

Moose, I don't think you understand the situation correctly. 1) Rambler didn't pull out... they went insolvent. Unfortunately the writing was on the wall for years. 2) Point Rousse had virtually no resource left. Sure they posted a resource for Stog'er but after the Argyle struggles...they made a decision to not take a risk to pursue a couple of years of making pennies when they had ...more
