RE:Short position small drop

RE:Short position small dropSurprisingly high short interest considering SGY's strength in the patch. When you drill the top performing wells in Alberta, having 6% of your float shorted must make you wonder. It is too bad they did not cut the dividend by 50% when they announced their sharebuyback. They should have said that they were diverting the dividend towards share repurchases. Now, we are still waiting for this "potential" divi cut...in any case, I bought more today...and I will keep buying every month and on every major weakness in the markets. I am hoping they might find some great assets on the cheap in this downturn, they have been very opportunistic with their purchases and I expect them to continue. GLTA!
