RE:Surprised jerryBYou rarely see an offer with 100% premium over closing. They could accumulate a 10% stake before making the announcement. If they offered $3.30, my bet is that it would go through. And that would be a good deal for CPG. But you are right, they have lots of land to develop and paying a large premium diminishes the attractivenes of the target. I am going to add. These results are too good to ignore. Glad to see they are puting in place collars to protect the downside and leave some upside. This management is faultless. Look at the shape they are in relative to just about any peer of their size. Long and strong.
