Curious as to what your views are on defunding the police. Whats up with that? -It depends on what you mean by “defund”, since there is no one single interpretation. Should police departments be literally disbanded? Absolutely not, that is just plain stupid. Should some of the money that currently fund the police be reallocated things such as community outreach in disadvantaged areas of cities? That’s definitely a possibility.
Do police departments require better vetting of candidates and better training in terms of dealing with the public and specifically minorities? Absolutely
How do you feel about the Green New Deal? -The green new deal as articulated by the progressive wing of the Democratic Party is a pipedream. That being said, if infrastructure spending is on the table, renewable energy and incentives for renewable energy infrastructure are definitely things that should be considered if a country is planning on spending trillions of dollars to update their current infrastructure
Whats your thoughts on the Muller deal et all? -Not sure what exactly a “Muller deal” is…
Is the old Trumpster working for the common folk? The old Trumpster works for one person and one person only…the Trumpster.
How bout China screwing over America in a thousand ways? China definitely is screwing America in a thousand ways, but it is the American government and American business leaders who have allowed said screwing. Despite the trade war and tarriffs, this situtation has yet to change.
How about the poisened minds of the College folk? Is this real? -The poisoned minds of some college folk are about as real as the poisoned mind of some non-college folk. Partisan hackery is not limited to one side of the political spectrum.
Why is the Left so God Da** negative and depressing? -In what regard? According to right-wingers, wasn’t the world ending for the entire 8 years Obama was office?
By the way, what is your view on the Left Media? -Media is media. There is no such thing as “unbiased” media, as it is shaped by those delivering the information. It helps to have a balanced perspective and form your opinions from getting your news from a variety of sources across the political spectrum.
Who will run the country if Joe wins. Is that good? -Joe will run the country, obviously. It would be a return to the status quo, which after the last 4 years may be a relief for many (I guess some people are just sick of so much “winning” )
What do you think of the Black Live Matter/Antifa org's. Good or bad? I don’t support the tactics of BLM activists, but I do support better accountability from law enforcement. That in and of itself shouldn’t be a controversial thing. Law enforcement exists to serve and protect society.
Your thoughts on ICE/ Prison Bail and all supported by the Dems. I have no problem with illegal immigrants being deported. However, legal immigration should be promoted based on merit.
Is the Wall a bad thing. The wall is bad in that it is a waste of money. The money would probably be better spent hiring more border patrol officers, as well as employing better surveillance technology on the border.
You like Mail in voting? In the middle of a pandemic, mail in voting is not such a bad idea.
