I agree with that.  I would like to know how much people lose in capital gains trying to hang on for a dividend?  I know I have held on in a few situations where I should have simply taken the good gain and run!  I think proving they can do a sustainable level of dividend, so people can count on it, would help prop up the share price and obviously help the math of it all in the longer term.
