Not a shrink but I can tell you that from a Financial Investment Strategy perspective, there's not much to gain, unless they are gaining financially from shorts. A Surge bag holder who hasn't met their bottom exit price should be looking at buying more stock to lower their position.  These incredibly affordable prices mean even someone who bought in at far above 6$ could level out ...more

WHY??  One reason shareholders will be taken to the cleaners again big time.

Why would you say that? The hedges are rolling off and divident will probably be back mid next year. FCF monster as of January 1st never mind this 4th quarter production should be full swing lowering the negative hedge % for this 4th quarter. Everything about this company looks real good! Just a matter of time

You are assuming they are not being forced to hedge again...the forward curve has lower prices as well. GLTA

I respectfully disagree with your view on hedges. I believe $80. Oil is just the beginning. We are in the early innings of a multi year oil bull run. You should only hedge if banks force you to or your not bullish on oil. We are just getting started. Enjoy the ride!

Hedging 33% of forward sales @ $ 80 is a solid stategy.....for all Companies .....Still got 67% to ride the market......

At $80 Surge is making very good money on their oil. There are also ways of hedging that would allow them to capture some of the upside even on the hedged oil if oil prices were to keep ...more

This Thread is filled with Haters! Find it so funny that there are constant haters regularly posting on here. Why?? There's really just one significant Hater and if you block them, the board clears up very nicely.

And if you don't block them some facts are real. You should block the ones that say SGY is going to $12.00 Maybe $6.00 tops.
Comment by Dilborg on Nov 23, 2021 3:31pm
I don't even need to mention the name of the ONE PERSON who is just shift posting all the time. They don't even bother to reply to the threaded comments, so blocking them really cleans up the conversation. I do like to get a sense of the pulse of the investors I'm investing with and stories of gloom and doom are those we all want to see. But, WTF does THE ONE ever offer in terms of ...more
