Funny activity

Both SGY and OBE are acting stange lately. Both these stocks should be ramping up in price but are doing the oppisite. Is this a case of the larger investors trying to shake out weaker hands?

Both Sgy and Obe are a recovery long term play. Both were close to extinction with unmanageable debt with oil at $50.  Both need to increase revenue to increase production to take advantage of high oil prices. If they succeed in ramping up production (which will be based on wti pricing mostly) and you believe this bull cycle is here to stay for 5 years+ BOTH will outperform their peers. It ...more

I agree with your thinking. CIBC(79) relentlessly playing both sides of the trade and IMO this is an accumulation tactic. Those with no stomach for current volatile markets are taking some profits and moving on. Best to sit back and dust will finally settle. ACE$
