Of course, "YES" if you want to see a further lack of investment in the oil and gas sector. That will drive oil and gas prices higher and perpetuate inflation. This energy spike is caused primarily by low commodity prices and lack of investment.

Plain Greed is the cause. Just like buying a House & High Rents more Greed. Interest Rates need to go alot higher.

What was it called when Oil went to negative prices? Greed?? If you don't agree then you are particiating in the greed and shouldn't buy the stock.

Higher interest rates will drive house prices down but not your payments unless you can pay cash  your payments will offset any reduction in price in most cases  With higher payments to own a house will mean higher rents as well you are right we need higher interest rates and a recession to get people back to reality  the cause of high prices are government over spending and ...more

The way to off-set high cost of gas, gasoline, heating oil, etc...invest in oil. If not...well...missed opportunity...and stop whining.  Further. no one was complaining when price of fuel of various types was tanking 18 months ago.  A tax on "excess" oil profits?...ludicrouse, stupid, nuts, communistic...these word come to mind...oh...and I'll refer back to the start of ...more
