RE:RE:RE:Volatility and the bottomCondor, no, I don’t currently own any gold, and the bottom is falling out of it, just like everything else. I have only a couple hundred shares in SHOP, with which I try to play the swings (somewhat unsuccessfully I might add)....I don’t know how old you are, but I’m in my 60’s, which makes me old enough to have lived through several recessions....one of several issues (besides of course the clowns in Washington willing to crush the working people of this country in their holy quest to save the world) is the fact that the Fed has kept interest rates artificially low for FAR too long, and now it’s coming back to bite us. I lost everything I had worked so hard for all my life back in the early 90’s, when interest rates went from 7% to 19%, and now we’re watching the beginning of the same thing beginning to happen, only this time we’re coming from a position with millions of people holding mortgages at 2 to 3 percent on homes they payed WAY more than their true value....and it’s going to hurt a lot of people......for everyone’s sake, I sincerely hope I am totally wrong about what’s coming, but I’ve seen what’s gone by in the past, and I, for one, am battening down the hatches and preparing for the biggest and blackest cloud on the horizon that I’ve ever seen.
