RE: RE: RE: RE: euro crisis

RE: RE: RE: RE: euro crisis I think I'll just keep hoarding shares of SLX...

Yes, because SLX shares represent great fundumental value---you own a piece of all silver (and gold) that is produced regardless to whatever happens with the fiat currencies.

Btw, the article by FOFOA (that I linked to before) is not a knock against silver or other precious metals other than gold.  On the contrary.  Because of silver's ever-increasing high industrial demand and its rarity, it would not be an ideal metal to use as money---and again, by money we mean as a storage of wealth and not currency.  Not even platinum nor rhodium or some other rare metal.  Gold's few industrial's uses are easily replaced unlike silver's for example.  Gold is produced and kept, it is not destroyed (used up).  That's been its history for thousands of years.  Having said that, it's also not hyperbole to say that in the near future it's very probable that an ounce of silver will be worth more than an ounce of gold, like platinum and rhodium.  Why?  Because it's fast disappearing.

Disclosure:  As you all know, I am knee-deep in SLX shares.  I also own stock in a diamond miner.  I don't own any gold stocks; however, if anyone here knows of a great gold miner with the potential of a Silvermex, I am all ears :-)

Do I own any gold itself?  A couple of British sovereigns, that is all. Why?  Because I don't see physical gold as an investment but as a storage of wealth.  Besides, I don't have that much wealth to store.  I am working on that  with my investments in Silvermex (and the diamond miner), remember?   ;-)
