Saturn Minerals Acquires 49,727 Hectares Of Oil & Gas Rights in Saskatchewan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 21, 2011) -Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI) ("Saturn" or the "Company")is pleased to announce that Saturn has submitted a successful bid forPetroleum & Natural Gas Exploration Permit 3092, located near thetown of Porcupine Plains, Saskatchewan, during the Lands Sale held bythe Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy & Resources on April 11th,2011. Exploration Permit 3092 (the "Bannock Creek Project") grants itsowner an exclusive right to explore for petroleum and natural gas withinpermit boundaries. Saturn owns 100% of the Bannock Creek Project.
Additionally, in accordance with the non-bindingLetter of Intent (the "LOI") entered into between Saturn and YellowQuill First Nation, Kinistin Saulteaux First Nation, Fishing Lake FirstNation and The Key First Nation (the "First Nations") (see News Releaseddated Feb 7, 2011), Saturn's final percentage ownership of the BannockCreek Project will be subject to the final terms of the LOI as agreedupon by Saturn and the First Nations.
The Bannock Creek Project is 49,727 hectares (497.27sq. km) in size and located immediately adjacent to the Company'sMistatim coal property and is accessible by highway and extensive ruralroads.
Summer exploration & drilling plans for the Bannock Creek Project will be announced when finalized.
