IT DOESNT ADD UP

Based on "clean the slate" presentation it was clear armoyane was not happy with the status quo of SOT.UN and wanted a board seat to propose his direction.   And now we learned that direction was nothing more than a dividend cut which is probably wouldnt have been his motive for buying the reit.  "hey lets target a weak office reit, and try to get them to cut their dividend"

there absolutely must be something else we are not privvy too which is the ultimate sale of the reit....thats the only way it makes sense

Interest in the Atlantic properties??  Tank the unit price, and get it on the carving table.  Should see some more insider buying in the coming weeks.

The problem for a buyer of the REIT  is  that they  are stuck with SLAMs  evergreen  contract to  manage  the  REIT   so   who  would want  that ?  Yes   SLAM  would  likely  be willing to sell  that  at  a price  but   it   would   come  out ...more

I wonder if the play is a Management buyout of the whole thing with Armoyan and Slate having decided how to split the properties at the end.  And on the SLAM side they already know which of their other REITs is buying the properties they keep. Wait for a few months and then offer $4.50 and.while most owners would protest , we would all take that and run. Just my thoughts.
