RE:RE:RE:Brookfield increases position.Well, yeah, it could be a really good investment. Superior used to have 3 divisions (propane, specialty chemicals, and a construction segment), and they were seriously debt heavy. Luc Desjardins took over and he has reduced debt significantly and he sold off the construction business and is focusing the company on the propane and specialty chemicals. I think they want to become kind of like a second Parkland. I'm not sure how the specialty chemicals business is doing recently. I think one of the chemicals is/was used in the pulping process for papermaking but I don't think it is as widely used now. Of course, Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) is funding a lot of these new acquisitions so, I'm sure they have a sweet deal as far as sharing in the profits.
