opinion - Trading account

Good morning all

I am currently trading with BMO Investorline, they just lunched Investorline 2.0 which I really don't like. I am thinking to switch to another institution. Please let me what you recommend based on your experience.

I would like to switch 4 accounts (Individual, Business, RRSP, and TFSA).

As for your personnal business, you should consider Banque Nationale discount broker. No transaction fee and it's user friendly.

I left BMO Investorline for the reason of, I worked in China for several years and, I was open and up front about it with BMO but they went ahead and froze my accounts, even though I continued to maintain a residence in Canada during most of that time.  I switched to TD Webbroker.  They're much better for people who work out of the country on occasion.  If you want stability ...more

i m  with td waterhouse for over 15 years and i will say that the only time i was disappointed was at the start and middle of the pandemic... it was difficult to get through... back to normal now with very good service... be careful about leaving or transfering your accounts as some company have pretty hefty fees for transfer... if you are planning on transferring on all four accounts you ...more
