4th quarter 2021 versa 1st quarter 2022
The weather in the Eastern part of the north America and to a lesser degree in the west was warmer than usual resulting in lower sales. The exact opposite is true for the first quarter of 2022. Also with all the new tuck in aqusitions and possible new revenue from hydrogen distribution the near future looks much brighter. I have had Superior for a very long time and they have never missed a dividend payment. Show me a bank that will pay you over a 6% return on your money. Today is a great buying opportunity in my opinion.

There are better, bigger blue chip stocks out there paying close to 6%, never missing a dividend payment and also raising dividends every year (which SPB has not for years). Examples are ENB, CPX, BCE. Not sure what attraction SPB has over these?

This stock has traded sideways for 15 years. Bad management.

I forgot to mention the most important plus and that is Brookfield Asset Management is a major player in Superior. I also own a lot of Brookfield and I can tell you Brookfield does not invest in companies who do not have a bright future.
