SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full-service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Canyon Creek Chop House, signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Reds Square One, and The Loose Moose, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership. The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership.

that's alot of blah in your head hopefully a good night sleep clears that up for you. Management decided that it was best interest to close the stores ie saving us money to divest somewhere else to provide better value. 1 store was added so that will give boost to profits. The company has funds to decide if they see a better high value area that can result in better sales and profits. The stock price has allready reflected this and is down 50% VS 23% decrease in earnings. My opinion company has made good moves and has room for growth by finding high value areas to open new restraunts. Sit back relax can take those dividends in next few days and buy more sir since price came down 0.20 :) happy and prosperous investing.
