Drive-by and visit

Drive-by and visitMade 2 visits near the local eateries over the weekend. First visit was on Thursday before indoor dining opened up. The weather was super nice and it was around 7pm. I was happy to see the patios were almost full and people waiting. This was for both Jack and Scaddabush. Across the street there is also a Milestone. They were close to full as well. Nearby I saw an East Side Marios and Boston Pizza, both not nearly as busy. The Canyon Creek, even though they do have a patio, was closed.

On Sunday I drove by again but this time it was around 5:30 so just before the start of peak dining. I made a pick up order for Scaddabush, while waiting I peaked inside and it was mostly empty but people were starting to arrive. The patios were mostly full as well.

My takeaway so far, people do want to dine out and have their favourites. Scaddabush and Jacks appear to be a go to choice. However, the biggest threat is whether we have another widespread shutdown that affects indoor dining. Once Fall arrives we lose patio dining and so indoor availabiltiy will be critical.
