Windsurfer,  I'll take the other side of the coin.  Nolan Watson has said all along that they intent do pay a dividend....longer term.  Now, i9t looks like we could be 2-4 years away from that point.  The biggest benefit is that being a regular dividend payer (even 1 cent per year) is that it would then be eligible for purchase by many instutions which are barred from owning barren stocks.  In addition, the PM ETFs do not pay dividends so even a 1% dividend could be attractive to investors who might otherwise be attracted to ETFs.  They would still be in PMs but have a dividend add to the punch of probably enhanced longer term performance compared to ETF which generally track the PM price less expenses.  I do not look for any dividend until we get to the $5B+ MC area.  To me, a dividend is not a big deal; however, it would lead to more stability in the share base (attract more stable shareholders) plus, longer term, the total return of dividend payers far exceeds that of the non-payers.  GL
