RE: Colossal Conundrum

RE: Colossal Conundrum

I wouldn't touch COLUF.  Not because I dont think they could do well.  I just think Sandstorms are the better way to capture the profit with the least amount of risk from the Serra Pelada mine. .

COLUF will capture 98.5% Of gold (I think if they need more cash SAND might give them more for a higher percentage of the gold, we could end up with 5%, 10% of the gold)

65% Platinum

65% Palladium

Being a traditional mining company they will be responsible for costs of running the mine. Worker concerns.

Sandstorm will also be taking some profits from them.

Sandstorm Gold will get 1.5% of gold and 35% of platinum with alot less risk.  If you can justify taking the risk then go for it.  Invest in COLUF. I just see it as to  much of a gamble. Too much risk vs the amount of reward that you may get.  If the price of gold and platinum take off maybe you could buy this.  But at these levels Sandstorm gets all of the benefits and none of the risks.  Take a look at all the companies that have linked with streaming companies in the past and look at there share performance.  I think the answer will be obvious when you do this.
