RE: RE: My top 10 picks of 2013.

Of course I leave myself open for judgment later and that is part of the fun in my opinion.lol  Or I could get all the glory.  Yeah..  sure..  hahaha

I buy core positions of my picks.  And then once those core positions are establishd I continue my research every week.  And I buy what is on sale.  If silver is down as an example I would buy SilverWheaton.  If the market is flat..  Northland Power for the monthly dividend.  So I dont trade I just accumulate and I love sales.  Sales that are not a fundamental flaw of the compnay but more a result of a short term commodity swing or some european country being insolvent.  I buy form a top down perspective.

Long term macro-economic view of the world.

Pick my sector.

Pick the best in breed out of sector.

Diversify away form the sector for safety.

Research...  research....  research Confernece calls presentations.  Cost per ounce??  Geographical safety. Reserves.  Exploration potential.  I guess I do exactly what Nolan does before signing a deal.  But I do it with mining companies also.  I will be investing about 25 thousand dollars this year in those companies.  I am not rich.  But I have accumulated a nice portfolio in the last few years.

Cameco, more utilities, oil giants with good dividends and water etf could also be used as chaos protection from my gold portfolio.  I am always expanding my research and I love to learn.

I would love to see everyone elses picks.
