RE: 16 Deep Bullpen Q1 earnings are expected next week. Since the rel gold price smash started in April, I look for cash flow and earnings results to be pretty good. Gold volume should be up. Since the steepest part of the smash only lasted a few days, no gold may have been sold at or very close to the bottom. Unless volumes are much higher or prices recove quickly, Q2 figures will take a hit. We can be pretty sure that volumes will be increasing if not quarter over quarter then at least quarter over second quarter back for several years as projects continue to ramp up. Agree with NZ that the Zurich presentation (and Q&A) was very professional and indicates a truly quality company. Will either buy more SAND (SSL) next week or simply sell some out of the money puts on SAND, SLV, or SLW. All the ideas look attractive; however, there is only so much cash to spend or to back the puts. This week I bought more STTYF (SND). IMO, the downward momentum in the streamers should turn within the next few months. Question is how long can the US market keep movings ahead with out a significant correction. A slow, gental 10% correction (nothing that would trigger a lot of margin calls) could benefit precious metal stocks...finally. But, as I have said for more than six months, this long term investor will just keep buying more shares (especially SAND and STTYF) once or twice a month just as streamers are on the bargin table. Many Asian investors really step up to buy when prices drop. This holds for both stocks and precious metals. Not the frenzy of buying of gold recently in China and India. Most Westerners look to buy when things are up and seeming to move higher. Through the years, I have learned to try to identify quality stocks and buy low...and then buy more lower...when given the opportunity. In closing, I'm looking forward to the coming CC and hope that the tone is positive...not so much for Q2 but for Q3, Q4, and 2014. I will again communicate to Denver the need for a positive intermediate term outlook. Things should be much better for Sandstorm Gold and gold prices in 6-12 months. Hopefully, they will convey that message during the CC. GL
