Back in at $5.05. I'll wait again for my 10-20% profit

No sell post since then. Closed today at 4.44. Could be a long wait.

Dirt cheap, strong Free Cash Flow yields. When does an acquirer come along... could be any time!

There is no one at the helm...the CEO is new and the COO is new- yes they have impressive resume, but we all know resume are not worth the paper they are written on. The CTO appears to be the only guy from the old regime, so I expect he'll be gone soon. The company has a mixture of open source, binary, hardware, software, cloud, premise all in a kluge of products from all the aquisitions ...more

could be a tough couple of months for tax loss selling

Without pissing all over STC: - yes, tax season is coming and it out of our control - management had declined guidance for the next 4 Q's and thus comit to nothing. - I have to think back 15 years to recall when small caps were so out of favour. - with the state of the world, small caps are most at risk. 4 year bond ETF paying 5.3%, pays monthly, sell it at your will...much more predictable.  ...more

Yup. They did say that the acquisition was going to be "transformational" and it sure has been.

Might be one of the worst acquisitions ever. It's now trading at $0.56 presplit. It needs to gain about 700% to get where it was trading before the acquisition. It was sailing along very nicely before it.

R u picking up shares at this price?   I hate the collapse but for crying out loud last three buys at 5.00 4.50,  4.00..  freaking 10% less each time over a couple weeks,   Insanity,,, next 3.50. Once in a generational chance to buy reasonable companies at ridiculous prices.

I'm not buying yet. I was thinking of buying when it got under $4 but with the expectation of the S&P going down to support levels of 3800 and possibly 3400. Sangoma would be much lower if that happens. No forward guidance is difficult to attract investors

Canadian stocks are looking more attractive than their US counterparts. The last time I've seen valuations this attractive was right around the GfC. I think stocks are being set up for a nice rebound once the next bull market begins. Unfortunately, contrary to what some are saying, I don't think we're in a new bull market with interest rates at these levels. There could be further pain ...more

Good points TorontoJay.  also don't take additional debt to overpay 30% for a EV compared to a carbon vehicle. Ford and GM came out with statements this week that EV's are going to be pushed back.  Don't invest in companies that are losing money and have difficulty paying off debt.  Canadian oil and gas stocks making a ton of cash are where I'm parking my money. ...more
