if usd depreciates, it should be a positive for all commodities. However, the second part of your statement is nonsensical. The price of said commodity is and always will be dictated by supply and demand. Unless there is permanent supply destruction/ crippling of US shale, along side growing or atleast steady oil demand, we're going to keep seeing the same picture we have been for the last 6 years. The picture becomes murkier if demand for oil also slows and declines with various developed countries pushing for more renewable energy.
