According to the latest IPSOS poll, 20% of Canadians would stop being friends with an unvaccinated person and 40% of Canadians wouldn't let an unvaccinated person into their home.
The survey indicates 52% of those surveyed want to tax the unvaxxed even though 45% of the people in hospitals with Covid didn't have Covid when they checked in. Maybe the hospitals should be taking better precautions against spreading Covid.
The vaccines were not created to prevent patients from getting Covid or transmitting it to others. The vaccines (well, they are not technically vaccines at all but let's not go there) were designed to mitigate the severity of co-morbities. And yet, Ontario remains locked down today because people keep dying whether they have received the vaccine or not.
How many vaxxed deaths have been attributed to the unvaxxed? My anti-vaxxer wife says that a report out of Alberta says the number is half. I haven't checked that story out so I take it with a grain of salt, but the point is that the reporting is so unscientific and opaque that it is very hard to believe anything one sees in the press.
Today, as a nation, we are more fragmented and I dare say more unhappy than ever before.
We have surrendered our freedoms and live in fear based upon an enormous effort by the media to spread "science" that is clearly not scientific by any measurable standards.
Long standing drug approval protocols have been largely ignored. The CDC and FDA refuse to make relevant data available. Why is that?
The goal posts for "herd immunity" keep changing. First it was 60% t0 70%. Then Fauci raised the numbers to 70% to 90% but said he would be his home that it is lower than 90%. Then Biden said we need 98%. Why would a rational person believe any of these numbers?
People that were supposedly "fully vaccinated" have been told that if they haven't been vaccinated for six months, the vaccination that they did would basically no longer be useful.
People are not told what is in the vaccines and they are not told about the potentially harmful side effects are when they get the jab. Nobody knows what the long term effects will be as "science" ignored all time related testing measures. And yet 32 million Canadians have blindly lined up and received the jab (30mm fully vaccinated and another 14 million have received the booster shot) out of fear, or a unproven belief it is the right thing to do, or to simply protect their jobs or to be allowed to continue their studies.
I didn't live through WW1 or WW2, so I can't compare. What I have experienced in the past 18 months is a total manipulation of the public by authorities.
I'm not an anti-vaxxer, but I'm 100% opposed to what Trudea and other politicians have rammed down our throats with pretty much zero real science to back up their fear mongering claims.
So, I have to ask myself, is this as bad as WW! or WW2? I can't answer that, but I see a planet being ruined by careless and short-sighted human beings and the atrocities continue. We live in a world where distrust, lies, and fear are the order of the day. Not my cup of tea.
