When did we get so afraid?

When did we get so afraid?Citi is calling for a mild recession this year.  Others are calling for it to be next year.

Everyone is scampering for the sidelines which seems a little late.

Some sectors are down 50% to 80% and if they are good companies, maybe people should be buying instead of selling here.  How much more downside is there other than the hedgies putting temporary pressure on so that they can load up on your fear.

Other more stable sectors with solid dividends are down 20%.  If they have more downside, then perhaps people should be setting target points and waiting to pounce.  It is not like those dividends are going to disappear.  Even Suncor won't be repeating its 2020 mistake that it is still paying for two years later.

Terrible decisions made by idiotic politicians have forced the central banks to use the only ammo they have.  It is going to be painful for awhile but geez people, suck it up.
