RE:Renewables only accounted for 36% of Aussie energy in 2022Obacure - In terms of your chance meeting while kayaking has been the subject of considerable jeering here, my life experience has been littered with chance meetings/encounters with interesting people from whom I have learned from.

When I mention such "small world" events to others, virtually all of them recount a similar experience in their life.  This, rightly or wrongly, has lead me to conclude that such events while seemingly random, actually happen quite often to most people.

The key thing is to keep an open mind and learn from such opportunities.  As far as I am concerned those that don't take advanatge of such situations are missing out and that increases their chances of making a bad decision.
