RE:Another company saying goodbye to Renewables It wasn't long ago that AQN was the poster boy for renewable potential. More conventional utility companies like Fortis were seen as dinosaurs that had breathed their last.

Now AQN is saddled with a big debt burden and selling renewable assets into an increasngly skeptical market place won't be easy. Hence the muted response on the stock today.

It's yet another example of the delusions that powers a world that believes energy is created from nothing.

Unfortunately you can't change the laws of thermodynamics. But with Suncor's long term reserves and reasonable balance sheet you can avoid the trap that so many wokesters have fallen into. Suncor will have long term value a long time after the renewable craze has breathed its last.
