- people are finally REALIZING that solar and wind energy is a GREATLY INFERIOR and LOSING proposition in the green transition - CONTAMINATING and UTILIZING prime agricultural farmland for solar farms is ABSOLUTE MADNESS - if the DESTRUCTIVE GREEN CULT SCAM was SERIOUS about LOWERING CO2 emissions while SUPPORTING a RESILIENT power grid, they would FAVOR policies like RESPONSIBLE and ADVANCED ...more

It wasn't long ago that AQN was the poster boy for renewable potential. More conventional utility companies like Fortis were seen as dinosaurs that had breathed their last. Now AQN is saddled with a big debt burden and selling renewable assets into an increasngly skeptical market place won't be easy. Hence the muted response on the stock today. I would like to know when these "green renewable" companies are actually going to contribute financially to anything, rather than just keep taking easy gov't handouts. Its called making a profit and paying some taxes. Crucial for any legitimate viable business. Is it even a projected forecast for these people? Yours and my Canadian Pension Plan took a $5 Billion hit last quarter, most likely from divestment of Oil and Gas companies and to Renewables. Is there any sites that provide Cpp's  holdings with company specific exposure...

Easy now ... we are conversing in an energy E&P space, and more than a few of these folks are known to carry some credits in the Billions.
