RE:RE:Student Protests 60s vs now - ImplicationsRed Deer...yes those all good points although I might disagree with your last point.  I do agree that the music was great and there were certainly many great protest songs and I still actually listen to them.  But I am not sure I would put that as the main difference between then and now.

Your point about not much much happening in Canada back is generally true.  What concerns me is that much of the "bad" things in the US lately seems to be seeping into Canada whether it is the protests or the nature of how the media reports things to many other things.  Despite what many might think, I have always considered Canadians to be different from Americans but that difference IMO is narrowing rapidly.  Not a good thing as far I am concerned.
