When I posted this video, I never questioned whether it was representative of current life in China. Now, I do ,just looked at other recent videos which paint a completely different picture. So I don't know what the situation really is. My apologies to anyone I may have unwittingly misled !!

Well there's been extensive reporting of an energy shortage on many Internet sources. Regardless of whether or not this is accurate, wait 'til they start digging for Lithium to make their EV car batteries. That takes a tremendous amout of water and fossil fuel energy, so if they haven't got a severe energy shortage now, they will soon.
