Reality
Rex Murphy has capured the essence of Canada perfectly in his tongue and cheek
article. Indeed, much of the public versus the political leadership of this country are
at odds with each other. Gov;t wants to be part of a narrative that is quixotically
suicidal with the best interests of the population and is H ell bent on ramming this
course of action down our throats. Biden is in the same dilemma and is confounded
by the stubborness of oil and oil companies to not do what he would like. So the
disconnect between gov't policy and reality will continue until some practical sanity
is restored at the top. Meanwhile, the rest of us will pay the price for this ill founded
badly thought out quest for "green" at any cost idealism.

as i have said before here, they have to wreck it before they can reset it here's a clue, why is biden begging for oil from saudi, iran, venezuela while choking domestic exploration, production and keystone pipeline?
