NOPEC to be the West's next chess move
Saudi Arabia has once again crapped on the USA and Europe.
The Saudi's have chosen to hump Europe as hard as it can for as long as it can. You can't blame SA as Europe and the USA have been grinding the Middle East for 100 years.
Now that OPEC has the "West" over a barrel :) it will be interesting to see how Europe and the West will respond. They could turn to Canada, but that doesn't work for the USA who plans to keep humping Canada for another century. Why else would the USA be turning to Venezuela in its time of need instead of Canada other than Biden looking bad.
Europe and the US have been pushing papers about NOPEC around for awhile. The US has had no incentive to promote the program because the US has been profiting from higher prices while Europe has been decimated.
With the midterms approaching fast and Biden out of bullets other than SPR releases, Biden needs a new story. What better way to rally Americans to vote Biden that to be seen as initiating a massive buying group to drive down the price of oil instead of having each country trying to outbid each other in order to heat homes this winter.
In a world where it keeps getting more difficult to believe in anything, the US offers up two things that we can always count on: its insatiable need for greed and power
