The legislature in Wyoming is proposing a resolution for a voluntary ‘phase-out’ of electric vehicle (EV) sales by 2035, in a symbolic move aimed at supporting the state’s oil and gas industry and a response to states such as California and New York, which have said they would ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars from 2035

Yup You start forcing people to buy one thing there's going to be push back. The Republicans win the presidency and they will crush the EV industry I got no problem with EV vehicles but don't force me to buy one. Hybrids on the other hand. I would look at one

the part i don't like is stealing money from people and give it to people who buy EV. If EVs are so great, why mandating EV sales target and fundiing purchase of EV? Canada does subsidize EV purchase but not as much as the 7500 USD offered in the US.

Yes. Meant to draw attention to forced EV transition by a pro oil state. I wish Alberta had the cajones to try something like this, as we need many types of vehicles in the mix, depending on the application and use. Good for them. https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Wyoming-Proposes-A-Voluntary-Phase-Out-Of-EV-Sales-By-2035.html

Think Saskatchewan put a small tax on them. Road tax or something I can't remember. The one useless Federal minister was ticked right off. Sask premier just said there's a tax on ICE so there's a tax on EV Stuipid Liberals
