NO WAY in the world can the price of OIL stay this low. OIL/GAS company's will stop drilling. The world is short OIL. AND we still need OIL for 50+ years. Green energy is to costly, currently.

Sing it sister.  All my project budgets are being flashed up to account for escalations in material, labour, and equipment prices. In some cases we are 40% higher costs than historical metrics. All our contractors are demanding increasing travel and perdiams.  Rightly so.   Certainly won't be buying back any shares with free funds from operations stifled at $65 WTI.& ...more

Agreed, Sadie...(as, I'm sure, do most posters). My SU stock is now at where I bought a while back. We are in the "slump" in O&G demand this time of year when it's too warm for the furnaces and not warm enough for the A/Cs. Not to mention today being option trade day. So, gonna watch SU price (plus other "opprtunities" to pck up fire sale O&G stocks befoe ...more
